Guess who’s back..

… Again! Haha 

SORRY FOR THE UNANNOUNCED HIATUS. I kind of lost focus with the blog over the summer but with sophomore year starting in just a week, I really want to get back into being accountable and starting up college fitness tips again :) 

I’M BACK!

Wow things are different! On Tumblr and in life haha. It’s crazy that so many of you didn’t unfollow me and still found something useful on my blog - thank you! :) 

The last 40 days have been truly AMAZING and I can talk about it so much more to keep things brief I’ll just bullet it into a couple categories. I’ve gotten healthier … 

  • Spiritually - connecting with your beliefs/religion is a beautiful experience! My faith has grown so much stronger and I’m so thankful for that. Yesterday for Easter service, Hebrews 11:40 stuck out to me: “God had planned something better for us so that only together with us they would be made perfect” I believe my goals, fitness related and not, will be even sweeter when they’re accomplished with Him by my side :)
  • Mentally - it’s SO much easier to just be happy! I started keeping a small grateful journal and I write down 5 things I’m grateful for each and every day. The things can be small, like having a nice cup of tea when it’s cold, to a larger/general thing, like family. Nobody is worth you being upset, not even yourself! Things aren’t always how we’d like them to be but there’s always something to smile about :)
  • Physically - I haven’t weighed myself (I will soon!) but I don’t think I’ve lost a significant amount of weight but I feel so much healthier. I used to be unable to go a mile without wanting to die and now I can go for 3 miles just to break a good sweat! I’m focusing on weight training and getting stronger for the summer :) 

What have you guys all been up to?? I’ll be slowly getting back into the swing of things but I’d love to have you guys fill up my ask! 

Ran 2.4 miles straight right after my midterm and right before my next class :) Now time for more class!
